There is no perfect recipe for Friendship.

When you are alone, Friendship might sit beside you and offer a conversation.
When you are hungry, Friendship might approach you and offer her lunch.
When you are both unfamiliar with something, Friendship might be your new found partner in crime.

When you are sad, Friendship will make you laugh and tell you it’s okay.
When you are in love, Friendship might raise her brow then will be more than happy for you.
When you are aiming for something, Friendship will stay by your side and will support you all the way.

Friendship is everywhere.
Friendship is walking in the corridor. Friendship is reading in the library. Friendship is eating her lunch. Friendship is crying because someone got her heart broken.
Friendship is always there.

But sometimes, Friendship changes.
Friendship might change school. Friendship might change her job. Friendship might meet new friends. Friendship might be more attached to her boyfriend. Friendship might change address.
Friendship might no longer be a “sister”.

The only thing we can change here is the last line. Friendship might stay after all the changes that have happened.
Friendship might still give you a phone call or message you on Facebook sometimes. Friendship might still comment to your Facebook status or favorite your tweet.
Friendship might stay.

But if Friendship has chosen to leave, let her.
Because you will always find a way to get back to each other if Friendship is true and treasures you.
Wait for her, don’t change.

If Friendship didn’t come back, cherish your memories.
Remember that sometime in your life; you were the best of friends.
Live your life and move on, but don’t ever try to forget her.

There is no perfect recipe for Friendship. We are all different. It is the way you treat each other and the way you show how you love and treasure one another that makes your Friendship unique. Always remember that if it’s true, it stays.

P.S: This is inspired by “When Love Arrives” by Sarah Kay and Phil Kaye. They're such an excellent poets!!! I would like to thank my friend, Mariel, for giving me the Youtube link. If you haven’t listened to them yet, click here. J
